Eva is a French and Spanish native who began recreational skiing at age four in the Pyrenees and the Alps. She taught for five years at Stevens Pass Ski School, where she went on to become the first woman in the United States to earn PSIA/AASI Level III certification in all three disciplines: Alpine Skiing, Telemark, and Snowboarding. Shortly thereafter, she became a PSIA Divisional Clinic Leader.

Eva spent several years freeskiing and traveling in the French Alps backcountry before returning to the U.S. From 2000 to 2007, she was a member of the Mt. Baker Ski Patrol and Avalanche Control Team, served as Ski School Training Director. During the summers, she spent a decade guiding rafts and teaching whitewater kayaking. Later, Eva moved to Hawaii for several years, where she focused on surfing, yoga, and swimming with dolphins. Eva has  a degree in Sustainability and in Flamenco dancing from UNM. 

Her coaching experience also includes five summers with Mt. Hood Summer Ski Camps, 4 seasons with Mt Baker ski team  and two seasons as a U14 coach for the Park City Ski Team. She has coached with MRT at all levels  since 2014.

Eva lives in White Salmon with her husband and their two sons and currently can’t stop talking about her newest passion, wing foiling, which has become a full-on family affair..
